King and other famous jazz and blues musicians, including Dr. John and Earl Palmer, participated in the making of the album. It consists entirely of covers of Jordan's songs and features elements of jazz improvisation and swing. The album was released in 1999 on MCA Records and won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for the track 'Is you is, or is you ain't (My baby)' performed by B.B. King and Dr. John.
